What I like…
Ever since Middle School I have loved to read. I also liked to work with kids. Whether is was volunteering at church or helping babysit kids, I knew that I wanted to work with students in some way. I had the unique opportunity to combine both of my passions to find my career an become a Librarian. I attended Kutztown University from 2008-2012, where I graduated with a Bachelors Degree in Library Science, concentration in Instruction Technology. I was a substitute classroom teacher K-12 for 2 years before landing a long term substitute librarian. I was lucky enough to find a Librarian position at my current school district, where I have been teaching for the past 6 years. I am excited to be working with Mr. McCray, this year on this students blogging experience. My 5th grade students have become excited to share their work with the world to view.
